Dr. Kirsty Porter Dietitian & Grace Magennis Occupational Therapist

Both Kirsty and Grace have worked extensively throughout the NHS and privately during their careers and they know that sensory eaters are often overlooked. They have developed this programme to support parents who have children who struggle to be in a mealtime environment, have severely limited diets and struggle with food to a level that is beyond standard fussy eating.

Dr. Kirsty Porter

Bsc Dietetics, MRes Clinical Research, PhD in Public Health Nutrition

Kirsty is an award-winning UK Paediatric Dietitian with over 15 years’ experience in the NHS and private practice. She specialises in supporting children with complex feeding challenges and helping families build positive, stress-free relationships with food. Having once been a fussy eater herself, Kirsty knows first-hand how challenging mealtimes can feel. She’s passionate about turning evidence-based nutrition into simple, practical strategies that truly work for busy family life. Outside of her work, Kirsty loves exploring beaches, going for walks, cooking and baking, and unwinding with Asian TV dramas.

Grace Magennis

Bsc Occupational Therapy

Grace is a highly experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist, with over 15 years working in the NHS and private practice. She specialises in supporting children with sensory processing challenges and has a particular passion for helping families navigate eating and feeding difficulties. Grace combines her professional expertise with lived experience as a mum of two (one of whom has sensory challenges around food), giving her a unique understanding of the struggles parents face. She loves helping families build positive, stress-free mealtimes where children can feel confident and enjoy food. When she’s not working, Grace can be found outdoors with her children, baking and cooking, or winding down with a good book.
